[http://www.powerliftingwatch.com/ Powerliftingwatch.com] är sajten som håller ett öga på styrkelyft runtom i världen och samlar nyheterna på en enda sida. Här är ett nyligt inlägg:

    Quote:
Increasingly, calls are being made to keep competition video off of the internet. Others are prompting meet directors to disallow videotaping to ensure videos will not be made public. These calls are in reaction to the criticism that videos will, at times, receive.

Is this the answer? Is there an obligation that the best lifters, as well as meet directors and federation leaders, owe to the sport to make video of historic lifts publicly available? Other sports are subject to reviews of close or bad calls. The scrutiny they receive is much more intense and vocal than any in powerlifting. However, there reaction is not to shield video from the public domain. Why does this seem like a good idea for powerlifting?

Darrell Hoard: ”Here’s a great idea not many have thought of and I ran this by Sam [Byrd] yesterday. See if this sounds like a good idea. How about no one post a F!&*ING VIDEO.”
