It was a big vote of confidence for the 5’3 1/2″ Florida athlete, who didn’t do too well at the ’11 Bikini Olympia but bounced back a few weeks later to get second at the Fort Lauderdale Cup.
Seventeen hit the stage at the Davenport’s RiverCenter for this one. Second went to Candyce Graham, with Nicole Moneer-Guerrero getting the third Olympia qualification up for grabs. Both, I’m sure, are extremely happy they decided to compete in the next-to-last top-three qualifier in bikini.
For the record (and because I love to count) there are currently 17 women who have already earned the right to stride ‘n’ snap at the ’12 Bikini O, with a long season to go next year before we get to that show in Vegas next September. It’s not difficult to see why the promoters were anxious to make those changes to the qualification rules that will kick in with the new year. Of course, there’s still one show to go before then, the Florida Pro Bikini on December 10 in Miami.
