Hendershott, who also won the 2005 Fitness International crown, completed a dream year by taking both major titles in Fitness, a feat that left the usually talkative tumbler struggling for words moments after coming off stage.

”To win the Olympia, it’s just amazing. I came here to do at least second or better, that was my personal goal. I’ve had such an awesome year; a number of things have gone right. I’ve had my struggles (in the past), and … wow. I’m in shock.” She added that she’s seriously considering retirement, having now accomplished her goals in the sport and wanting to clear the path for her fellow competitors to step forward.”
